Super Goatacorn is a side-scrolling platform adventure for iPhone, iPad and Android, made by Blondee Games. Three candy worlds, six forms to play as, nine Golden Acorns and a boss called King Chewy. It is free, it plays offline and there is nothing to buy.

How do I play?

Hold the left or right arrow to move, and slide down to crouch or enter a pipe. Tap JUMP for a small hop, or hold it for a higher one. Landing on most enemies bounces you off them. Hold RUN while moving to cross wider gaps. The star button uses whatever your current form can do, and tapping the candy card at the top drops the power-up you are holding in reserve. HOW TO PLAY, on the title screen, says all of this inside the game.

Can I use a controller or a keyboard?

Yes. On a gamepad, the D-pad or left stick moves, A jumps, B uses POWER, X runs and Y drops the reserve. On a keyboard, the arrows or WASD move, Space jumps, X runs, C uses POWER and P pauses.

I put the game down and my level is gone

It should not be. Lollipop flags through each level save your place, and leaving the app saves at once, so CONTINUE on the title screen picks the adventure back up at its last flag with the hearts, forms and treasures you had there. What does not come back is momentum: enemies, moving platforms and the boss all reset, and a level with no flag reached yet starts again at its beginning. If the app is killed abruptly, up to about two seconds of play can be lost. Golden Acorns, stickers and finished levels are permanent and are never affected.

How do I move my progress to another device?

Settings → BACKUP makes a save code. COPY puts it on the clipboard, SEND opens the sharing sheet, and entering that code on the other device restores what it contains. A code carries permanent progress — finished levels, Golden Acorns, stickers, forms and your sprinkle collection. It does not carry an adventure that is half-finished, so finish or abandon the level you are on before you make one.

A level is too hard for the person playing it

Settings has two assists that can be turned on at any time. Slow Sugar slows the whole game down a little, and Sticky Edges gives you a moment of grace at the lip of a platform so a jump taken slightly late still works. There is no timer anywhere in the game, so it is always fine to stop and look around. After two bonks in the same stretch of a level, the game leaves a helpful candy nearby.

Can I make it more comfortable to play?

Settings has left-handed and right-handed layouts for the touch controls, separate switches for music and for sound effects, and a switch for haptics. If your device has Reduce Motion turned on, the game softens its effects to match.

Which levels and forms are included?

All of them. Sprinkle Meadow, Fizzy Shore and Fudge Fortress are in the download, along with all six forms, every secret room and King Chewy. Nothing is locked behind a purchase, because there are no purchases. Finishing a level opens the next one, and the FORM CLOSET on the title screen lets you take any form into a level you have already opened.

Does it need the internet?

No. The whole game is installed with the app and the app makes no network requests. It plays in airplane mode, on a plane or in a car, from the first launch onwards.

What does it collect about us?

Nothing at all. There is no account, no leaderboard, no advertising and no analytics. The privacy policy for the app has the detail.

Which devices does it run on?

iPhone and iPad running iOS 15 or later, and Android phones and tablets running Android 7.0 or later with Android System WebView or Chrome 89 or later. The game plays in landscape.
