Super Goatacorn

This page covers the Super Goatacorn app for iPhone, iPad and Android, published by Blondee Games. The whole game is installed with the app and runs on your device. It is free, and it has no ads, no accounts, no purchases and no leaderboard.

This is a different thing from the games on the web at goatacorn.com and supergoatacorn.com, which do use a server and have their own privacy policy. Nothing on this page applies to them, and nothing on that page applies to the app.

The short version

The app collects nothing. We receive no data from it at all.
There is no account, no sign-in, and nowhere to type your name.
Everything you unlock is saved on your device and stays there.
No ads, no advertising identifier, no analytics, no crash reporting, no cookies.
The game works with the device in airplane mode, from the first launch onwards.

What the app saves on your device

All of it stays in the app's own private storage, in its local storage and native preferences:

which levels you have finished and your best run for each one
Golden Acorns, stickers, the Acorn Tree and your sprinkle collection
which forms you have found
your settings: left- or right-handed controls, music, sound, haptics, Slow Sugar and Sticky Edges
a checkpoint, so an adventure that was interrupted can continue at its last flag

Deleting the app removes this data from the device.

What the app sends anywhere

Nothing. The app makes no network requests during play. All artwork, music, sound and levels are bundled in the download, and the app's content security policy blocks connections to outside addresses. There is no gameplay reporting, no telemetry and no crash reporting, so Blondee Games receives no information about you or about how you play.

Backup codes are yours to share, or not

Settings → BACKUP builds a save code from your progress, on your device. COPY puts it on the clipboard and SEND hands it to the sharing sheet, both only when you tap them. The code never comes to us. Anyone holding a code can restore the progress it contains, so treat it the way you would treat a password.

Your device's own backup settings — iCloud Backup, or Android's backup service — may include this app's data, under Apple's or Google's privacy policy rather than ours.

Children

Super Goatacorn is made to be suitable for all ages. There is no free text anywhere in the app, no chat, no leaderboard and no way for one player to reach another, so a child cannot type or share anything, and nothing personal can be entered in the first place.

Permissions

The app asks for no permissions. It does not use the camera, the microphone, contacts, location, the photo library or notifications.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
